Discover the history of our land through this image of the very first house ever built on it.
This modest structure, simple in form yet profound in meaning, stands as a silent witness to the origins of our journey. It was here that the seeds of aspiration were first planted long before the walls of the monastery rose, before prayers echoed through the valley. This house marks the sacred moment when the land was first entrusted to us, becoming a place of refuge, reflection, and purpose. Gently aged by the passing years, it symbolizes the foundation upon which our community has grown, rooted deeply in faith, humility, and perseverance.
While the site is still under construction, significant progress has been made. In the foreground, you can see the rooms for visitors, which already offers comfortable and practical accommodations. Behind it rises the main monastery building, adorned with traditional Tibetan architecture bright colors, intricate woodwork, and golden ornaments that reflect the spiritual essence of the place. Each level reveals the harmonious blend of sacred design and functionality, embodying the peaceful yet vibrant spirit of the Dharma. The entire complex continues to evolve, guided by devotion and the aspiration to serve as a sanctuary for study, retreat, and inner transformation.
